Information
The Conference on the Future of Europe is the opportunity for citizens to interact with politicians across different levels of government and express what they aspire for. As the assembly of locally elected politicians, the European Committee of the Regions believes this is an opportunity to establish new models of dialogue and deliberation with citizens which can strengthen democracies. Regions and cities have a key role to play in this process as the levels of government most trusted by citizens. Through testimonies of local actors and concrete examples from the ground, this session will thus highlight the key role played by regions and cities to bring the Conference on the Future of Europe closer to citizens.
