From the EU to me: safeguarding EU funds for and with citizens - 12WS21537

The EC and Transparency International are piloting Integrity Pacts (IPs), aimed at curbing corruption in procurement through civic monitoring. IPs ensure that the public value of monitored EU projects is met by fostering the active participation of citizens throughout the process. The session will reflect on what a meaningful citizen participation entails and how the EU can get closer to citizens. We will discuss this with IP monitors, the EC, EU managing authorities - and citizens, of course.
