Young women face unique and significant hurdles when it comes to taking part in our democratic system. Yet, in a Europe transformed by the pandemic, not enough is known about the new shape of these challenges, especially at local level. By presenting fresh data from opinion polls gathering the views of citizens across five European countries, our workshop will shed new light on these barriers, and invite participants to share their ideas on overcoming them and engendering a truly equal Europe.
