E-democracy: opportunities and challenges for Local Intermediate Authorities - 13WS21368

As proximity administrations, Local Intermediate Authorities (provinces) give constituents the chance to access all the services they provide by computer or telephone, thus significantly reducing CO2 emissions. The workshop will explore good practices and jointly develop proposals for improving e-democracy practices at local level to enable citizens to be directly involved in decision-making processes and for making best use of ESI funds to support the introduction of innovative e-services.
