In the period 2014-2020, the European Investment Bank (EIB) provided EUR 123.8 billion in financing to projects in EU cohesion regions. In 2020 alone, this amounted to EUR 19.5 billion. In this talk, EIB Vice-President Lilyana Pavlova will explain the EIB's approach to cohesion in the EU's next programming period (2021-2027), address the climate and cohesion nexus and show how your city or region can work with the EIB to improve the quality of life of its citizens.
