Information session (followed by Q&A)
Information
This session will introduce the Natura 2000 logo as an opportunity for promoting sustainable services and goods that contribute to the objectives of the EU Natura 2000 network of protected areas. In June 2021, the European Commission adopted a new decision to transfer the copyright of the logo to Member States for free and for the first time to allow its use on products and services under certain conditions. The session will discuss the opportunities and challenges of its use and the contribution of regional and local authorities in creating new partnerships and rebuilding a post-COVID-19 sustainable economy that has the protection and restoration of nature at its heart.
