Territorial Impact Assessment in EU legislative procedures - a compulsory element for cohesion? - 14INFO21665

The EU's legislative process and the use of TIAs has to be made clear and more participatory in order to move it closer to citizens and regions. This session will simulate a legislative proposal process and involve the participants in (at least partly) shaping the proposal and assessing its contribution to territorial cohesion. By showcasing and "feeling" how an impact assessment process works, a discussion about the usefulness of TIAs will be possible.
