Accelerating adaptation at the local level – Covenant of Mayors cities scaling up solutions - 14PL21650

This session will start by setting out the framework for adaptation action put in place by the EU Adaptation Strategy and the Mission on Climate Adaptation. Next, a City and a Covenant Coordinator will present some local actions and participants will then engage in an active discussion. Participants will discuss how to step up implementation of their local adaptation action plans, and what supporting instruments can be activated to meet their needs. Inputs from the audience will shape the course of the session.
