Youth empowerment in the EU's Outermost regions - 11WS22262

The situation of young people in the outermost regions and the divergence of social opportunity between these regions and continental Europe is a cause for concern: high levels of youth unemployment, young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEET), limited professional and educational opportunities and transport challenges. 

However, youth issues should be addressed beyond their challenges, but rather as an opportunity and a source of solutions: 

How can young people contribute to the economic recovery and build resilience following the crisis? How can regional public authorities support innovative initiatives or projects that revitalise local communities?

This workshop will also be an opportunity to exchange best practices with other regions facing similar challenges.
