Cohesion policy is on the frontline of the challenges EU citizens face today. Yet citizens are too often unaware of this policy and its impact on their daily lives. This workshop showcases three communication campaigns funded by DG REGIO to increase EU citizens' knowledge of and engagement with cohesion policy. The workshop will capitalise on the lessons learnt to provide local and regional authorities with recommendations in order to better communicate about cohesion policy.
