Promoting gender equality at local level through sports-related youth activities - 11WS22153

Sports is one of the most efficient forms of engaging youth. In the spirit of the European Year of Youth, this session presents the experience of the municipalities of Pedreguer (Spain), Carvalhais (Portugal) and Malatya (Turkey) in developing sports-related youth projects through a gender perspective. The municipalities sought to promote gender equality in local and non-local youth by engaging them in sports projects. These experiences are presented as examples of good practices.
