This active dialogue features young professionals and policy-makers working on youth policy covering the two broad themes of attracting and retaining youth in the EU's regions and cities. The first session will focus on how policy can be strengthened to build places that young people want to live in, while the second turns to opportunities for youth to stay and develop professionally in the EU's cities and regions. 

The key outcome is to create linkages across policy areas, networks and individuals working on the attraction, retention and inclusion of youth across Europe's regions and cities. The contributors will explore ways that policies and cross-sector initiatives can create more youthful places that are more inclusive and more attractive from an economic, environmental and social perspective.

The workshop will features four panelists under the two broad themes of attraction and retention:
