Information

Social innovations are today more important than ever for successfully meeting the societal challenges of a fair, sustainable and digital transition, in particular at the local and regional, as well as national and European level.

The new European Commission ESF Social Innovation+ initiative aims to facilitate and boost the transfer and upscaling of innovative solutions and tools across the EU through sharing knowledge and expertise, transnational networking and cooperation in the field of employment, education, skills and social inclusion.

Interested in what this initiative can do for local and regional stakeholders?

The initiative will include EU-level calls for proposals and a European Competence Centre for Social Innovation, which will become a knowledge-sharing and capacity-building hub for social innovations. The Centre will be managed by the Lithuanian ESF Agency.

The info session will explain in detail the content of the initiative and highlight opportunities for local and regional stakeholders. It will also showcase the Social Innovation Database, which provides access to inspirational practices and social innovation stakeholders across the EU.
