HOW?

The community's participatory challenges are the co-innovation labs to experiment with activities and materials for this transition in 5 innovation areas (train teachers, bridge education with science, develop green skills and competences, raise awareness, and change behaviours).

Together, let's inspire, develop and draw on innovative European educational capacities and get together in participatory challenges!

FOR WHOM?

Everybody across the EU who is active in education and/or sustainability

teachers – educators – pupils – students – trainers – parents

From early childhood care to higher education and adult learning | from museums to industry, education stakeholders to other educational bodies | at local, regional, national and European levels

WHY?

Climate change, biodiversity loss and natural resource scarcity require urgent adaptation to the emerging systemic changes. To overcome these challenges, the European Green Deal will transform the EU into a modern, prosperous, and resource-efficient Union, ensuring no net emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050 and leaving no person or place behind.

Education plays a crucial role in shaping, responding to and adapting to this green transition. By developing and bridging knowledge, skills, behaviours and values, education will enable young Europeans to become engaged and responsible professionals and citizens.
