This high-level workshop will discuss how current levels of public investment provide an opportunity to address regional inequalities and to prepare regions for megatrends and future shocks. It will highlight examples of public investment in support for the green and digital transitions in European regions. It will look to draw on lessons from countries outside the EU on how to leverage public investment to support regional development.
