Due to the high energy prices, the number of people living in energy poverty is increasing: 34 million Europeans currently. This workshop, based on the POWERTY project learning process, aims to show the challenge of energy poverty in Europe as well as good practices, focused on vulnerable groups and how to to alleviate their energy poverty through renewable energy in order to inspire European regions and cities to reduce energy poverty using renewable energies.
