This workshop will address the roles of regional and local authorities in challenges emerging from the war in Ukraine. Municipalities in the EU and neighbouring countries have a crucial role in fostering social inclusion and cooperation between themselves at regional level and they can facilitate the transition for refugees from Ukraine. What tools and strategies have cities developed in response to the crisis and what tools or resources are most valuable now?
